Eastbourne Bed and Breakfast

Set in the picturesque surroundings of the South Coast of England, Eastbourne is a medium sized town in the county of East Sussex and a major English Tourist resort. London is 74 miles to the North.

Eastbourne has been settled since stone age times, and many ancient monuments can be found in the region. The town shot to prominence as a tourist destination following a visit of the then King of England George III and his children. Since that time the town has been a popular destination for visitors and tourists alike who recognise the many benefits of the town.

Eastbourne is on the south coast of England and benefits from the best weather England has to offer, and is particularly warm during the summer. It is sheltered in the East by cliffs, including Beachy Head which is perhaps one of the best known.

Eastbourne is a fine example of Victorian coastal architecture with many guest houses along the seafront. There are no shops on the seafront by the pier due to the fact that the freehold of the properties on the front are owned by the Duke of Devonshire who would not allow their conversion. Eastbourne Pier is one of southern England's best - opened in 1880 it has been a popular tourist attraction ever since.

Accommodation in the town is plentiful with numerous B&Bs, inns, hotels and other lodgings. There are a number of larger hotels, the largest of which is the Grand Hotel which boasts 137 rooms. Here we feature smaller Bed and Breakfast establishments which offer a warm English hospitality and a hearty breakfast included in the price.
